Warren Bridge Campground, WYBureau of Land Management
OverviewThe Green River has long sustained the communities of western Wyoming. Here the river offers habitat for raptors and songbirds, deer, trout, and salmon. The recreationist can flyfish, hunt for big game or game birds, canoe and kayak in the river, or sit by the banks and watch the water flow. In June, this area is the site of a roundup of thousands of cattle- a real taste of the "Old West."
This is a fee site at 7,600 feet in elevation surrounded by rolling sagebrush covered hills. There are 16 developed campsites, 8 pull-through and 8 back-in campsites, 6 developed picnic sites, three double vault toilets, RV dump station, 23 tables, trash cans, fire rings, and barbecue grills. Drinking water provided at each campsite. The campground is open from mid-May through September. This is bear country.
