Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery, WA

Fish and Wildlife Service

Overview

The Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery Complex includes three U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service hatcheries in north central Washington. Our hatcheries are located near the towns of Leavenworth, Entiat, and Winthrop, Washington. The Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery (NFH) is open year round and is open to the public. Come explore our hatchery, talk with staff, watch our operations, and learn about our fish and the environment they live in. There is something for all ages to discover! Leavenworth NFH offers a new Visitor Center with exhibits on salmon, a self-guided Hatchery Tour, and the Icicle Creek Nature Trail. The grounds at Leavenworth NFH are home to 8 kilometers of cross-country ski trails. Wildlife is still abundant in winter and can be enjoyed from the ski or snowshoe trails.
