Overview

Located at Hartwell Lake, one of the southeast's largest and most popular public recreation areas, Poplar Springs is a summer day-use area that offers an ideal setting for a party, barbecue or simply a day of water activities with the family.

Poplar Springs is located on the Georgia side of Hartwell Lake and boasts sweeping views of the nearly 56,000 acres of water that comprise Hartwell Lake.

Directions:

From GA 77/State Route 366, take the first right onto Knox Bridge Crossing Road/GA 59. After two miles make a slight right onto Powers Road. Turn right onto GA 398 North, follow for 3.5 miles, then follow the brown directional signs to the site.
