OLD MINERS MEADOW GROUP USE (OR)

Description

Old Miner's Meadow is a three acre group use area located along the Quartzville Creek National Wild and Scenic River. There is no host on site and groups access the area through a locked gate. Only one group is allowed to reserve the site at one time. Campsites within the group-use area are not designated, but fires are only allowing in the existing metal fire rings. Ammenities include vault restrooms, picnic tables and fire rings. Groups are required to bring their own potable water and firewood. The roads shown inside the site are gravel. A combination lock will be in place when you arrive.

Directions:

From Sweet Home Oregon, head east on U.S. Highway 20 and approximately one mile out of town turn left on the Quartzville Access Road heading towards Green Peter Reservoir and Quartzville Creek. Old Miner's Meadow is located on the right side of the road approximately 25 miles up Quartzville Road about one mile past Yellowbottom Recreation Site.
