Pineview Reservoir, UT

Overview

Pineview Dam and Reservoir, Ogden River Project, on the Ogden River east of Ogden, Utah, were constructed in 1937 and later enlarged. Recreation management at Pineview Reservoir is under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Forest Service, Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The Forest Service can be reached at (801) 625-5306. Situated 10 miles east of Ogden, at the 4,900-foot elevation with a 2,870-acre surface area. Managed recreation season is May through October. Heavy use during the summer. Available fish species include crappie, bluegill, sunfish, and catfish. Fees are charged. Huntsville U.S. Geological Service map covers the area.
