Meeks Cabin Reservoir, WY

Overview

Meeks Cabin Dam, Lyman Project, located in Uinta County, about 2 miles north of the Utah-Wyoming State line and 22 miles southwest of Fort Bridger, is a rolled earth and rockfill structure 185 feet above streambed with a crest 3,162 feet long. Recreation management at Meeks Cabin Reservoir is under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Forest Service, Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The Forest Service can be reached at 307.789.3194. Situated southwest of Mountain View, Wyoming at 8,690-feet in a timber setting with a 470-acre surface area. Managed recreation season is June through October with moderate use. Available fish species include cutthroat trout and whitefish. Fees charged. Meeks Cabin Reservoir U.S. Geological Service map covers the area.Water Quality.
