Denver Caboose Cabin
The caboose cabin is approximately 5.5 miles north of Skagway, AK, along the East Fork of the Skagway River. Access is via the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad starting May 01 and ending September 30. Make reservations at least 24 hours in advance for train transportation. Rate information and reservations are available by calling the railroad at 800-343-7373. From October 01 through April 30 there is no safe access to the cabin and so the cabin is closed during those months. The tracks and the land around them are controlled by the White Pass and Yukon Route (WP&YR) railroad. For public safety, the only available access along the tracks is as a passenger aboard the train during their season of operation. It is WP&YR policy to restrict any other access along the tracks. Being on the tracks at any time could potentially be very dangerous.
