You can access this trail by following the North Tongass Highway to the Revilla Road Junction. Turn right and follow to the Brown Mountain Road approximately 6 miles. The junction is mile past the Harriet Hunt Road turnoff. The trailhead is located at the end of the Brown Mountain Road (Rd 8005-120) approximately 3 miles. The road is steep and narrow with other traffic, so drive with caution.
