To access the trailhead parking area follow the North Tongass Highway to the Revilla Road junction; turn right. Follow to the intersection with Ward Lake Road; turn right and follow past the Ward Lake parking lot. The trail starts approximately 100 feet beyond the entrance to the 3 C's Campground. Parking is available on the Ward Lake side of the road across from the entrance to the campground.
