Clear Creek Trailhead
From Halfway, Oregon travel north the Cornucopia Highway (Main Street) to the Fish Lake Road and take a right; on the Fish Lake Road go 3.3 miles to the Clear Creek Road and turn left; Following the turns travel about 2 miles on the Clear Creek Road to the National Forest boundary; The road becomes Forest Road 6610 at forest boundary; Continue on Forest Road 6610 for about 2.5 miles to Forest Road 030; Turn right on Forest Road 030 and go about 3 miles to the trailhead. (Advisory: Forest road 030 is rough and not suitable for passenger cars; recommend high clearance vehicles only)
To get to Halfway from Baker City, Oregon travel north on Interstate 84 for about 1.5 miles; At exit 302 turn east on State Highway 86 and travel 54 miles to Halfway.
