Via the Salmon River Road #1618 go 22 miles from Riggins to the Wind River Pack Bridge; or via the Slate Creek Rd #354, 18.3 miles from US95 to Grangeville Salmon Road #221, then north 1 mile to the junction of the Moore's Gospel Road #444, then 12 miles east to Moore's Station. You can also access the wilderness on Sourdough Road 492, Orogrande Road 233 from Highway 14 Corridor. Orogrande to Orogrande Summit is another entry point. This route is "not suitable for trailer towing." From Orogrande Summit to Lake Creek. This route is labeled "Jeep road not maintained for travel." Dixie Road 311, 311 A and 222 from Dixie are access points south of Elk City, Idaho.
