Directions

Directions from Cowlitz Valley Ranger District: Travel west on Hwy 12 for 1 mile.  Turn left on State Route 131.  In 1 mile, stay to the left at the "Y".  You are now on Forest Road 23.  In 19 miles, stay to the left onto Forest Road 21. Follow Forest Road 21 for approximately 4 miles. Turn right on Forest Road 56.  In approximately 2 miles turn right on Forest Road 5603.  In approximately 4 miles turn right on Forest Road 2329.  Follow the signs for Horseshoe Lake. There is approximately 12 miles of gravel to get to the campground.
