Interpretive Site: Big Tree

The site of an impressive old growth Pondrosa Tree that is about 370 years old. A hiking trail runs though the site.

From Trout Lake, Washington take Mt. Adams Road north to the intersection with Forest Road 23 and turn right.  Continue driving for one mile to Forest Road 80, signed South Climb. Make the left hand turn on to Forest Road 80.  Drive north about one mile to the turn on to Forest Road 8020, marked Big Tree.
