Drive east on Forest Road #765 (Cumberland Pass Road) for 3 miles to Forest Road #839. Turn right on Forest Road #839 and drive 10 miles to the Alpine Tunnel Station Complex. (Note: visitors should exercise caution as they drive this narrow, mountain road - former narrow-gauge railroad grade)
