From Pomeroy, Washington (39 minutes):Starting at Main Street, take 15th Street headed south. After 0.2 miles, continue onto Washington Highway 128 (or County Road Pomeroy-Peola) and continue to stay on Highway 128 for 13.2 miles. Take a slight right onto Forest Service Road 42 (Iron Springs Road /County Road 191) for 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 125 and Big Springs will be on your left.

From Clarkston, Washington (72 minutes):Starting at US Highway 12 (Bridge Street) head out of town west bound  for 20.9 miles. Take a left turn onto (Sweeney Gulch Road) for 8.3 miles. Continue onto Washington Highway 128 east for 2.6 miles. Continue right onto Forest Service Road 42 (Iron Springs Road/ County Road 191) for 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 125 and Big Springs will be on your left.
