Directions

  • From Lakeview District office, go 2.5 miles north on Highway 395, and turn right onto Highway 140.
  • Take Highway 140 east for 8 miles, then turn right onto Forest Road 3615.
  • Go 0.5 miles and turn right onto old highway 140.
  • Continue west for 1.4 miles then turn left onto Forest Road 3915.
  • Go on Forest Road 3915 for 10 miles, and then turn right onto Forest Road 4011. Go on 4011 for 3 miles.
  • The road then turns very rough (4-wheel drive required) and into Forest Road 015.
  • Follow the signs to the Crane Trail. The trail is in the Semi-Primitive Area. There are no boundary signs.
