Upper Trailhead on Forest Road 2060: From Ashland, OR, drive west on Highway 66 (Ashland Street) for 1 mile to Siskiyou Boulevard. Turn right on to Siskiyou Boulevard and go 0.75 mile to Morton Street (just a couple of blocks past Triangle Park). Turn left on to Morton and follow it up to the top of the hill (Morton takes a couple of jogs so watch the signs!). Turn left on to the Ashland Loop Road. This is a hard left that is more than 90 degrees (very difficult for long wheelbase vehicles). A short distance ahead the pavement ends; proceed a little over 1 mile on the rough un surfaced road to the trailhead parking area on the left. Parking for 4 or 5 vehicles.

From the top of Park Street in Ashland: At the "green gate" entry point to Siskiyou Mountain Park. Parking on street is limited.
