From Seiad Valley, CA, take Seiad Creek Road north for 12 miles. Then go right on Forest Road 1055 and follow for 9.7 miles then go left on Forest Road 1050. Follow Forest Road 1050 for about a mile to the junction of Forest Road 1040 and 1050. This junction is a wide spot in a gravel road just south of the California state line. Turn left on Forest Road 1040 and follow for 5 miles. Go left at the 1040 junction with Forest Road 1035 and travel 2 more miles to the trailhead. Plenty of room for parking and trailers.
