From Medford, take I-5 North to exit 61-Merlin. Take a right on Merlin-Galice Highway and before reaching Galice take a right on Taylor Creek Road. Follow the signs to Gold Beach and Agness over the Bear Camp Road (Forest Road 23). Once in Agness take a right on Forest Road 33 and then a sharp left on Forest Road 5325, which arrives at Laird Lake in about 12.5 miles.
NOTE: The Bear Camp road system traverses rugged, isolated country with no services or cell phone reception and is for summer driving only. Drivers should carry emergency supplies and a current, detailed map of the adjacent public lands. Trailers are not recommended.
From Port Orford, drive north on Highway 101 and take right on Elk River Road (County Road 208) which becomes Forest Road 5325. Continue past the end of the pavement until reaching Laird Lake Campground.
