Tumacácori NHP Celebrates Culture

During the first full weekend of every December, the park hosts the Fiesta de Tumacácori, a free two-day cultural fiesta. In addition, during the peak season, artisans demonstrate traditional crafts that may include tortilla making, paper flower making, O'odham basket weaving, or leather working.

A Variety of Guided Tours are Offered

During the peak season, the park offers not tours of historic Tumacácori Mission, as well as walks to the Santa Cruz River, and half-day tours to two other mission sites normally closed to the public; Calabazas and Guevavi. Tumacácori National Historical Park is located off of Exit 29 of Interstate 19, fifty miles south of Tucson, Arizona, and eighteen miles north of Nogales, Arizona. The Visitor Center and Museum are located at 1891 East Frontage Road, Tumacacori, Arizona, 85640.
