Chaco Culture National Historic Park charges an entrance fee. You may purchase a 7-day pass below, valid for Chaco Culture National Historic Park only. 

If you plan to visit other national parks or federal lands, consider purchasing an Interagency Pass (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.) upon arrival at the park. The Chaco Canyon Visitor Center that is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Hiking trails and archaeological sites are open daily:

If you already own a valid entrance pass (such as Senior, Access pass for persons with permanent disabilities, Military, 4th Grade, etc.), you do not need to purchase any of the passes below. For more information on fees and passes, visit Chaco Culture's Fees & Passes web page. 

Site Passes purchased on Recreation.gov are non-refundable and non-transferable.

This entrance pass is valid for entrance only at Chaco Culture National Historic Park. 

Print a hardcopy of the pass or save it to your phone to check in at the Visitor Center upon arrival to the Park. There is no WIFI and no signal for cell phones in the park.

Entrance fee applies to all visitors 16 years of age and older at Chaco Culture National Historic Park. 

Entrance passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.

This entrnace pass does not cover commercial vehicles, organized groups or concession operated faciltiies or activities. Please consult with the Park's Visitor Center for additional commercial use authorization.

This entrance pass does not cover camping.  Camping reservations can be made separately on the Gallo Campground reservations page .

The Chaco Canyon Visitor Center that is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Hiking trails and archaeological sites are open November through February: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., March through April: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and May through October, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  

Already own a pass? We accept valid Interagency Passes. Purchase of this entrance pass is not required if you already own an Interagency Pass (such as annual, Senior, Access pass for persons with permanent disabilities, Military, 4th Grade, etc.).
