Indiana Dunes National Park Site Pass

Indiana Dunes National Park

Indiana Dunes National Park also accepts payment in person during Operating Hours and honors valid America the Beautiful (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.). For more information visit the park's Fees & Passes web page.

Beginning January 1, 2026, changes to National Park Entrance Fees and Passes for non-residents and motorcycles take effect.

Frequent visitors, seniors, military, and others may save money on entrance fees with an America the Beautiful Pass.

Each pass is issued to one person (the pass holder) who must be present and show valid photo identification each time the pass is used. U.S. citizen or resident identification includes a U.S. driver's license, U.S. passport, or U.S. permanent resident card.

Indiana Dunes National Park requires all visitors to pay an entrance fee except children 15 years of age and younger.

You are purchasing a digital site pass that is valid only for weekly or annual entrance fees at Indiana Dunes National Park. Note: Indiana Dunes State Park collects a separate State Park fee.

The pass admits the pass owner(s) and accompanying passengers in a private, non-commercial vehicle. Pass owner must be present for entry. Representations of the pass are prohibited.

Purchasing this pass does not expedite entry into the park and does not guarantee you a parking spot. Plan to arrive early with the possibility of long lines to enter the park. Reduce wait times by having your pass ready (printed on paper or displayed on your device) when you arrive at the entrance.

Passholders can print a copy of this pass and display it on the vehicle's dashboard for ease of display. Those traveling in open-topped vehicles or on motorcycles should carry the pass with them and be prepared to present it to NPS staff upon request.

Entrance passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen and will be void if altered or reproduced.
