Tickets are available for walk-up customers free of charge on site on the day of the tour. For Ticket Information, Parking, Where to Eat, etc. please contact the Independence Visitor Center at 1-800-537-7676.

Tickets are required for all visitors regardless of age.

Will Call Pickup: 45 Minutes Prior to Tour Time (one exception is the 9:00 a.m. tour. The Independence Visitor Center does not open until 8:30 a.m. You would need to pick them up a half hour before your tour time). Tickets not picked up 45 minutes prior to the tour will be released for walk-up customers . The 45 minute requirement allows sufficient time to pick up tickets at the Independence Visitor Center (located at 6th and Market streets) and to pass through security before entrance to Independence Hall.

There are no refunds for tickets purchased in advance. You may call back to re-book a tour at no additional charge. All sales are final upon completion of this transaction.

Once this transaction is completed, there are no refunds under any circumstances. All ticket purchases for Independence Hall are final. If you cannot make your tour time or date, we may be able to reschedule your tour at no additional charge based on availability.

Independence Hall is considered the birthplace of the nation with both the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution signed here. Timed tickets are required.

Tickets for Independence are distributed at the Independence Visitor Center which is located at 6th and Market Streets. To arrange for American Sign Language services call us 2 weeks in advance at 215-597-7130 (voice).


Please note that only the first floor of the Independence Hall is ADA accessible


Independence Hall is located on Chestnut Street between 5th and 6th Street. For more information log onto Tickets for Independence are distributed at the Independence Visitor Center which is located at 6th and Market Streets.

Note: Some Tours may be available only from the Tour Park on a first-come-first-served basis. Arrival dates earlier than the online-reservation-window may also be available at the Tour Park.
