The location is to be determined depending on flowers and weather, hike is less than 2 miles. In September a hike to the edge of the Middle Santiam Wilderness. There are many opportunities in this very diverse area, a flowing wild river, moss covered forest, antique shelters, and abundant swimming holes provide inspiration for any media. For both - all media is welcome, including photographers. Please bring all the supplies you need and be prepared to carry them with you. Dress for the weather and bring a lunch we will return by 5pm.

This class is well known for teaching people a very good way to start a fire in Western Oregon with very little. It is our goal in sharing our knowledge of this and many other skills to save lives. Knowledge is light and fits right in your pocket! We Will be taking a short hike and working on skills along the way. If the weather is bad we will construct an alternative exercise.
