Black Creek Lake Day Use Pass Pass

National Forests and Grasslands in Texas

Located on the north shore of the 35-acre Black Creek Lake, Black Creek Recreation Area was completed in 1967 as a picnic area and boat launch facility. Since that time numerous improvements have been accomplished. Black Creek Lake is a small lake where windy conditions are seldom a problem and anglers can expect success from a boat or from shore. The boat ramp area has 10 parking spaces and 11 walk-in campsites near the parking lot. The area lends itself to tent camping and some limited space is available for small RVs. No water, electricity, or sewage dump facilities are available. No pack or stock animals are allowed in the area. Visitors are reminded to keep their pets on a leash and that glass containers are not allowed.

All visitors are recommended to either display a printed copy of the pass on the dashboard of the vehicle or have the verification code available on your mobile device. If using the printed Day Pass display it with the QR code and pass information visible on your vehicle dashboard. If purchasing onsite, please have the Recreation.gov app downloaded prior to arrival. Once purchased please write down confirmation number on provided envelope and post in vehicle dashboard.
