Seashore Modern House

Cape Cod National Seashore

A house made of windows, that’s the best way to describe the Seashore Modern House. Located off the beaten path, this two bedroom, one bathroom home sleeps four. The cottage, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was designed in the “Modern style” and completed in 1961. It sits atop a high bluff and faces northeast to maximize the sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean below. Today the house has been comfortably re-furnished with the era of its original construction in mind. This spacious, well equipped home will make your stay at Cape Cod National Seashore memorable.

While this property is the park's only vacation home without convenient beach access, town beach permits are easily obtained by contacting the Town of Wellfleet's beach permit office, or by visiting one of the many beaches which are operated by the Cape Cod National Seashore where daily access permits are available.
