The Mary McLeod Bethune Council House NHS at 1318 Vermont Avenue serves as a museum and visitor center, interpreting the history and legacy of Mary McLeod Bethune and the National Council of Negro Women. Visitors are encouraged to ring the doorbell and a National Park Service employee will welcome you inside on days that the park is open.
