The original part of the Inn, known as the "Old House" was completed in 1904 and is an icon of national park architecture and also a National Historic Landmark. The immense lobby rises 76 feet and features a massive stone fireplace and a handcrafted clock made of copper, wood, and wrought iron. It is the most requested lodging facility in Yellowstone National Park, and guest accommodations include rooms with private and shared baths. Additionally, a full-service restaurant, deli, gift store, and interpretive tours are available at the Inn. The Inn is open early May through mid-October.
