If you plan to only visit for 1-7 days or if you want to buy an annual pass enjoy the convenience of purchasing then printing your pass before you arrive. A printed copy of this pass is required for your vehicle. Fold the printed pass on the dotted line and display it on the dashboard, with the QR code visible, at all times during your visit.
You are purchasing a digital site pass that is valid only for weekly or annual entrance fees at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore requires all vehicles to pay an entrance fee. Please be prepared to show your hard copy pass or digital pass on your mobile device. The Pass admits the passholder and up to 15 passengers of a single, private (non-commercial) vehicle.
Entrance passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, will not be replaced if lost or stolen and will be void if altered or reproduced.
Do you already own a pass? Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore honors the Interagency annual and lifetime passes that are valid at multiple national park and federal sites. If you own one of these passes you do NOT need to purchase a digital site pass.
Areas of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore have limited or no connectivity. Please download this pass to your mobile device and print a hard copy before arriving at the park.
Passholders must print a copy of this pass and display it on the vehicle's dashboard with the QR code visible.
Those traveling in open-topped vehicles or on motorcycles should carry the pass with them and be prepared to present it to NPS staff upon request.
Are you visiting multiple parks? If you already have a valid Interagency Annual, Senior, Access, Military, Veteran, or Fourth Grade pass, you do not have to purchase one of the passes sold above. Display this pass in a hangtag or place it on the dashboard of your vehicle.
If you do not have a printed pass displayed in your vehicle, park law enforcement rangers and fee collectors may verify your pass by entering your license plate number.
Visitors may trade a paper annual pass for a plastic card pass at the Munising Falls Visitor Center. The plastic card can be assigned to two people and used in any car.
Long lines for entrance to Munising Falls are common during peak season, on holidays, and during the summer months, and purchasing this pass may provide faster entry into the park.
