Need to Know

• Weather

  Dress appropriately for the weather. This training will take place indoors and outdoors. Temperatures on Campbell Tract can often be 10 degrees colder than in other parts of Anchorage.

• Wildlife

  The Campbell Tract is home to many types of wildlife, including moose and bears. Always pay attention for wild animals, give them lots of space, and practice “bear aware” techniques (e.g., travel in groups, make noise, and carry bear spray).

• Parking

  Park in the main Campbell Creek Science Center parking lot and follow the signs to take the walking path to the main entrance.
