Moonlight Snowshoe (for Adults)
Campbell Creek Science Center Public Programs
Snowshoe through Campbell Tract’s beautiful winter woods under the light of the full moon. Participants will travel off trail across uneven, snow-covered ground. Snowshoes provided—or bring your own. Notify CCSC in advance of any special needs or requirements you have. This program takes place entirely outdoors and is intended for those 18 years of age and up.

Need to Know

Program is for adults: 18 years of age and up.
- Wildlife
The Campbell Tract is home to many types of wildlife, including moose and bears. Always pay attention for wild animals, give them lots of space, and practice “bear aware” techniques (e.g., travel in groups, make noise, and carry bear spray).
- Weather
This program will take place entirely outdoors. Dress appropriately for the weather. Temperatures on Campbell Tract can often be 10 degrees colder than in other parts of Anchorage.
- Directions
Park in the main Science Center parking lot and follow the signs to take the walking path to the Main Entrance.
