Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park Tours
Join author Tom Wessels (Reading the Forested Landscape) as he conducts a walk that focus on interpreting landscape histories, examining unique plant adaptations, and delving into the robust web of coevolved interrelationships between species that is the foundation of ecosystem resiliency. This hike will only be available on September 24, 2022 during Forest Festival.

Please arrive at the Carriage Barn Visitor Center at least 15 minutes in advance of your tour time. Allow at least 15 additional minutes for parking and walking up the site.
Parking for Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is located at Billings Farm & Museum, 69 Old River Road, Woodstock, VT 05091. After parking, walk towards the Billings Farm & Museum and take the concrete path to the right of the Visitor Center. Walk up the path, cross Elm St using the cross walk, and take the left fork in the road to walk up a short, steep hill towards the Carriage Barn Visitor Center. Accessible parking is available next to the mansion. This hike is not ABA accessible, and will involve occasionally steep increases in elevation.
Children 15 and under are only charged a $1 reservation fee per ticket. When booking your reservation, please ensure that you account for all adults AND children, including infants.
Tours can be booked online until the designated tour time.
Photography, including using a flash, is allowed in all guided tour areas. Please be courteous to other visitors.
Backpacks, food, and drink (including water) must be left outside the mansion before entry. Storage lockers are available in the Carriage Barn Visitor Center.
