Yosemite National Park Ticketed Entry
Yosemite National Park participates in the National Park Service’s (NPS) entrance fee-free days. On these significant days of celebration or commemoration, all entrance fees are waived. For all other days, please make a reservation under the Day Use Entry page

Entrance fees are waived on National Park Service’ Entrance Fee-Free Days. A non-refundable $2.00 reservation fee still applies. Your reservation is valid for 7 consecutive days, but you must arrive on the entrance fee-free date indicated on the ticket. If your visit extends beyond this period, you will be required to purchase a ticket on the Day Use Entry page.
Annual and Lifetime pass holders are still required to make a day use reservation on Entrance Fee-Free Days. For all other days, your pass is accepted as your entrance fee along with your day use reservation.
Visitors arriving on foot or bicycle do not require a day use reservation. Day use reservations must be purchased online at Recreation.gov or using the Recreation.gov mobile app. Reservations will not be sold at the park. Day use reservations are nontransferable, and resale or auction of reservations is prohibited.
Visitors must arrive during day use hours on arrival day reserved. Day use hours are 5 a.m. PT to 11 p.m. PT. All day use visitors are required to leave the park by 11 p.m. PT each day visiting.
Visitors are allowed up 1 ticket. Reservation holder must be in the vehicle or on the motorcycle at the time of entry and prepared to show photo ID.
Please have a printed or digital copy of your day use reservation available to be scanned at the park entrance station each day you enter. All reservation holders be prepared to show photo ID.
Visitors with overnight reservations in the park (wilderness permits, campground or lodging) or a Half Dome permit will not need a day use reservation. Have your photo ID, Half Dome or wilderness permit, campground or lodging reservation confirmation ready to show at entrance station. Entry fee is not required if arriving on an entrance fee-free day. However, you will need to pay an entrance fee on any other day.
