Parking reservation tickets go on sale on August 24th at 10 am EST for September 7th through October 3rd. An additional batch of tickets will be available on a rolling window starting September 5th for arrivals on September 7th. Only one vehicle reservation ticket is allowed per vehicle per day.
Please have a printed or digital copy of your Laurel Falls trailhead parking reservation ticket available to be scanned upon entry. Please be sure to download your digital pass on your mobile device before arriving to the park as cell service is not available onsite.
Visitors who are not able to secure a parking reservation can access the trail through the shuttle service provided by Rocky Top Tours .
Consistent with CDC guidance regarding areas of substantial or high transmission, visitors to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask inside all park buildings.
Individual whose name is printed on the ticket must be present in vehicle and provide photo ID to validate.
Parking Reservation Tickets are not required for visitors who have a printed backcountry permit.

There will be 56 parking spots available for reservation each day. 14 spots are avaialble for each of the 4 time slots. The number of parking spots available for reservation is depending upon two factors:
1 - Only designated, paved parking areas with safe egress to the trailhead are available for reservation. Many of the areas previously used for parking at Laurel Falls were inappropriate and unsafe
2 - Some of the parking area is being used for shuttle loading and unloading and therefore not available for reservation
