Alerts and Important InformationCheck in available at 1:00 pm on day of arrival. Check out time is 12 noon. Campers arriving after 8:00 pm will find their campsite assignment posted on the kiosk located at the campground entrance, you must confirm your registration by 8:00 am the next morning. Bear habitat: food storage regulations strictly enforced. When not in immediate use, all food, beverages, coolers, cooking utensils, pet food, or other attractants must be kept in a closed hard-sided vehicle or secured in bear proof storage lockers located near campground comfort stations. Generator use is permitted only between the hours of 8:00 am - 10:00 am, 12 noon - 2:00 pm, and 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Pets must be on a leash and are not permitted on trails. Vehicle and vehicle combinations longer than 21 feet (including bumpers) or wider than 8 feet (including mirrors) are prohibited between the Sun Point parking area and Avalanche Campground. Entrance fee is $25 per vehicle, $12 for hiker or cyclist; pass is valid for 7 days. Campground stay is limited to seven consecutive days for each reservation.
