Entry Tickets are required for the Going-to-the-Sun Road (GTSR), which can be reserved from this page. Visitors must also have a park entrance pass, which can be reserved in advance from the Glacier National Park site pass page, or a Interagency Pass. An entrance pass or an interagency pass is needed to enter Glacier National Park. Your GTSR entry ticket does not include an entrance pass and the entrance pass does not serve as a GTSR entry ticket. Both are required.

Entry Tickets are not required to access other areas of the park.
Reservation Tip: Login to your account or create a new account before tickets go on sale. We recommend you book online to avoid delays. The Call Center does not have additional inventory for sale.
Entry Tickets and park passes are two separate kinds of tickets. Park Passes are required for all visitors. Visitors with an Entry Ticket are also required to have a park pass (Park Passes are either Annual, Lifetime, or 7- day Pass and can be purchased at the park). Glacier specific 7-day and annual passes can be purchased prior to arriving on Recreation.gov. Glacier National Park Site Pass - Recreation.gov.

Entry Tickets are good for 7 days.
Please have a printed or digital copy of your GTSR entry ticket available to be scanned at the park entrance station. Pass holders must provide Annual or Lifetime Pass (if applicable) for validation. Cell service can be unreliable in the summer. Please be sure to download your digital pass on your mobile device before arriving at the park entrance.
Individual whose name is printed on the ticket/pass must be present in vehicle and provide photo ID to validate.
Entry Tickets are not required for visitors who:
• Have overnight reservations at Fish Creek Campground and Apgar Campground group sites
• Have reservations at any lodges, motels or chalets located within Glacier National Park’s GTSR corridor.
• Have reservations for horseback rides, guided hikes or boat tours within Glacier’s GTSR corridor.
• Have a bus Ticket-to-Ride for the park’s internal shuttle.
• Are Tribal members, private landowners (including guests), business owners and employees
Please be prepared to show proof of reservation (printed or digital copy) when you arrive at the entrance station.
Recreation.gov does not accept payment from foreign bank accounts or travelers’ checks.
Vehicles, and vehicle combinations, longer than 21 feet (including bumpers) or wider than 8 feet (including mirrors), are prohibited between Avalanche Campground and Rising Sun picnic area parking. Vehicles, and vehicle combinations, over 10 feet in height may have difficulty driving west from Logan Pass to the Loop due to rock overhangs. Resale or auction of GTSR entry tickets is prohibited.
Tickets are non-refundable, but can be modified within 24 hours of your reservation start date.
