Shasta-Trinity National Forest - Bailey Cove Boat Ramp Pass

Shasta-Trinity National Forest

Shasta Lake has many coves and arms which make it an ideal spot to take your boat, regardless of the type. Open areas for personal watercraft and wake-boarding, quiet coves for fishing, and calm hideaways to take a kayak are all available to you. The lake has many launch points to help you cut down on on-water travel time to your favorite destination.

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the boat ramp to purchase an Activity Pass. Once on-site, follow the posted instructions and pay for your Activity Pass by scanning the QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app. Download and sign into the free Recreation.gov mobile app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service: https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app

All visitors must fill out an envelope with confirmation information and drop in the metal fee tube located at the fee boards.

Please display the other half of the envelope on the vehicles dash.

This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.
