Granger Lake

Wilson H. Fox Park is located in the gently rolling hills of the Texas Blackland Prairie. In the Spring it offers and exceptional array of wildflowers that blanket the landscape. Wilson H. Fox Park is one of four parks on Granger Lake. A day-use pass will need to be purchased per vehicle and will be valid at any day use park on the lake for the same day of purchase. The facility has RV camping with 20/30-amp and 20/30/50-amp electrical service with water at each site and one centrally located dump station. The Facility also has two boat ramps, picnic sites, a group shelter, and a swim beach. Online reservations for the campground and some day-use facility's will be available year around. The day-use area is open daily from 6:00am to Sunset. Wilson H. Fox Park is approximately 15 miles from the city of Taylor, Texas and 40 miles from Austin, Texas.

All visitors to Granger Lake must purchase a valid pass at day use fee sites where required.

If purchasing a pass in advance, a printed copy of the pass is recommended for your vehicle. If a pass cannot be printed your license plate number will also be collected for compliance.

If an Annual Pass is purchased, visitors must trade a paper Annual Pass for the plastic hang tag to be used in a private vehicle. Please visit the gatehouse within 14 days of purchase to receive your physical pass.

Entry to parks is based on parking availability in day use areas and is first come first served. If you exit the park during the day, re-entry is not guaranteed as it is based on park capacity. Entry at another day use area on Granger Lake may be possible if this area has reached capacity. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be cited and could be towed. 

This pass is valid until 10:00 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

No Golden Age Passport or America the Beautiful Interagency Pass discounts are applicable. Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
