Black Warrior and Tombigbee Lakes
Deerlick Creek Park, located on Holt Lake of the Black Warrior River north of Tuscaloosa, Alabama offers many amenities. Visitors can access the water and enjoy opportunities to view wildlife. Deerlick Creek provides a convenient camping spot for families, boaters, swimmers, picnickers, and sightseers. The beach/day use area is open from March 1st to November 30th the boat ramp is open year-round. Please review park conditions prior to your trip to ensure there are no closures.
All visitors at Deerlick Creek are required to pay a use fee. Please be prepared to show your hard copy pass or digital pass on your mobile device.
Print out or download the pass on your mobile device in advance of your visit. Connectivity may be limited, and the pass must be available to show at all times when visiting Deerlick Creek.
A printed copy of this pass is also required for your vehicle. Fold the printed pass on the dotted line and display it on the dashboard, with the QR code visible, at all times during your visit.
Operators of motorcycles and open-top vehicles must carry this pass on their person. Passes should not be left on an unattended motorcycle.
The gatehouse helps collect fees, so please be prepared to show your pass to the volunteer in the gatehouse.
Long lines for entrance to Deerlick Creek are common during peak season, on holidays, and during the summer months, and purchasing this pass does NOT provide special or faster entry in to the park.
Visitors may trade a paper Annual Pass for a wallet card that can be assigned to two people and used in any car. Please visit the gatehouse/recourse office/ or talk to a park ranger during your visit for details.
Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced
