Panther Creek Falls Picnic Area and Trailhead Pass

Enjoy a picnic, hold a Boy Scout troop meeting, or have a family gathering within the historic CCC structures of this wooded recreation area. Directly adjacent to the picnic pavilions visitors can follow their picnic with a mesmerizing or try a hike to the awesome falls on the 3.3 mile (one way) Panther Creek Falls Hiking Trail. The pool at the end of the waterfalls is a great place to enjoy a little cool swim on a hot summer day.

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis as parking is limited. Once on-site, follow the posted instructions. For additional information, you can download and sign into the free Recreation.gov mobile app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited cellular service: https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app

All visitors are recommended to display a printed copy of the pass on the dashboard of the vehicle. If paying prior to arrival print your Day Pass and display it with the QR code and pass information visible on your vehicle dashboard. If purchasing on-site, please have the Recreation.gov app downloaded prior to arrival. Once purchased please write down confirmation number on provided envelope and place on vehicle dashboard.

This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

America the Beautiful Passes: Senior, Access, Annual, Military, Gold Star, Veteran, and Golden Age Senior/Access are accepted at this site. Those passes are good for the pass holder and up to three adults per vehicle.

Passes are non-transferrable between operators, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
