Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area (P)
This pass is valid during daylight hours of the date paid for day use activities (picnicking, use of restrooms, and hiking) at the Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area. The pass allows use at any unoccupied, first come, first serve site (marked with brown posts) in the recreation area. You should not occupy a reservation-only site (marked with yellow posts).
The pass must be purchased on-site through the Recreation.gov mobile app. Once on-site, follow the posted Scan & Pay instructions. You will need to download the free Recreation.gov mobile app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. This pass is valid for day use activities (picnicking, use of restrooms, and hiking) at the Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area administered by the BLM Arizona Strip Field Office.
Visitors should write down the confirmation number and display it in the dash of their vehicle as a substitute for a printed pass.
Be prepared to provide proof of purchase, if requested by BLM law enforcement.
Day use activities are free for visitors with any America the Beautiful Passes (Senior, Access, Military, Gold Star, Veteran, and Golden Age Senior/Access.)
