Five Mile Dump Station Pass

Dalton Highway

The Five Mile Dump Station is the only BLM operated dump station along the Dalton Highway. It is located adjacent to the Five Mile Campground, approximately 5 miles north of the Yukon River and the BLM Yukon River Contact Station.

Five Mile Campground and Dump Station are open from mid-May through the end of September.

This pass can also be purchased on-site using a credit card through the Recreation.gov mobile app. Once on-site, follow the posted Scan & Pay instructions. You will need to download the free Recreation.gov mobile app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. All customers of the Five Mile Dump Station are required to possess a copy of their Day Use pass, with QR code visible, for the duration of their use.

America the Beautiful Passes: Senior, Access, Military, Gold Star, Veteran, and Golden Age Senior/Access are not accepted at this site.

If purchasing onsite, please have the Recreation.gov app downloaded prior to arrival. Once purchased please write down confirmation number on provided envelope and post in vehicle dashboard.

This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

Passes are non-transferrable between operators, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.

Water available at the Five Mile Dump Station is non-potable. Do not use it for drinking water.

Cell phone connectivity along the Dalton Highway might be limited, plan ahead.
