Cibola National Forest and Grasslands
This pass can be used for all sites that charge a day use fee at Lake McClellan on the Lake McClellan National Grasslands. Purchase your day-use pass ahead of time or purchase directly at the day-use site when you visit. This pass covers Day Use fees (not overnight fees) charged at select sites.

McDowell Fishing
A valid America the Beautiful Pass is accepted at the above day-use areas. The pass must be displayed on your vehicle at all times.
This pass can also be purchased on-site using a credit card through the Recreation.gov mobile app. Once on-site, follow the posted Scan & Pay instructions. You will need to download the free Recreation.gov mobile app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. All visitors to Black Kettle National Grasslands must display a valid pass at day use fee sites.
This pass covers the fee at day use fee sites on the Black Kettle Ranger District of the Cibola National Forest and Grasslands for one private vehicle and accompanying passengers for one day. This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for that is pass.
If purchasing your pass on-site, no printed copy of the pass will be available. Instead, your license plate number will be used to confirm pass validity. You must write your order number or reservation number on an on-site pass and display the hang tag in your windshield for proof of online payment. If purchasing your pass in advance, a printed copy is required for your vehicle. Fold the printed pass along the dotted line and display it on your vehicle dashboard with the quick response (QR) code visible at all times during your visit.
This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed.
Passes are not valid for camping or Off-highway Vehicle (OHV) use.
Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
