The $5 fee allows for a single use of the water fill and sanitary dump station at either South or Watchman Campground in Zion National Park. The fee recovers utilities and equipment servicing costs for fresh water and sanitary dump stations in the park. Visitors also have the option to pay the fee onsite when campground staff are available.
Campers already holding a camping reservation do not need to pay a separate fee since access to this amenity is included in the reservation fee.
