Lake Chinnabee Day Use Pass

Not far from Cheaha State Park is Lake Chinnabee Recreation Area. This 17-acre lake is tucked into a pastoral valley of peacefulness. Lake Chinnabee Recreation Area offers sanitary facilities, hiking, picnicking, fishing; and the Chinnabee Silent Trail connects the campground to Cheaha Wilderness. Lake Chinnabee is an ideal spot to enjoy nature for daytime recreation. Lake Chinnabee is open March 1 through December 1.  

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis as parking is limited. Once on-site, follow the posted instructions. For additional information, you can download and sign into the free Recreation.gov mobile app on Android or iOS prior to your arrival as some remote areas have no cellular service: https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app 

All visitors must display a valid pass at day use fee sites where required. A printed copy of the pass is recommended for your vehicle. The pass is available onsite for purchase, please be prepared by having the Recreation.gov mobile app downloaded to your phone to complete payment onsite.

This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
