Coleman Lake Day Use Area Pass

The newly renovated Coleman Lake Recreation Area is peacefully nestled into the Talladega mountains. For recreationists who want to get away from the crowds, but want a few modern conveniences, Coleman Lake Recreation Area is your place to be. There are 29 picnicking units, a 21-acre lake, vault toilets, and access to the Pinhoti Trail.

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis as parking is limited. Once on-site, follow the posted instructions. For additional information, you can download and sign into the free Recreation.gov mobile app on Android or iOS prior to your arrival as some remote areas have no cellular service: https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app 

All visitors must display a valid pass at day use fee sites where required. A printed copy of the pass is recommended for your vehicle. The pass is available onsite for purchase, please be prepared by having the Recreation.gov mobile app downloaded to your phone to complete payment onsite. 

This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

Golden Age Passport or America the Beautiful Interagency Pass discounts are applicable. Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
