Chaonia Recreation Area offers a variety of recreational opportunities for fisherman and campers! The boat ramp is centrally located on the lake, offering excellent access to a wide variety of fishing hot spots. An accessible fishing pier, 4-lane boat ramp with courtesy dock and nine primitive campsites make this an ideal location for your next outdoor adventure.
This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once on-site, follow the posted instructions. You will need to download the free Recreation.gov mobile app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service: https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app.
All visitors at Chaonia Landing are required to pay a fee in order to use the boat ramp. Please download the pass on your mobile device.
This pass is valid until closing of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.
Please keep your dogs on a leash and bag and dispose of your trash in the dumpsters provided.
