Welcome to Fashoda Picnic Area & Day Use. The Fashoda beach is located on a peninsula of the eastern side of the Union Valley Reservoir. The lake area is known for activities like sailing, swimming, boating, and fishing. There is also the Union Valley Bike Trail nearby.
This pass is accepted at the day use and boat launch area only. The pass is valid only on the day of purchase. The Day Use area is open from dawn until dusk. Parking is First Come First Serve.

When purchasing onsite, please have the Recreation.gov app downloaded prior to arrival. Once purchased please write down confirmation number on provided envelope and post in vehicle dashboard.
This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. This pass is valid until 11:59 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.
Passes are non-transferrable between operators, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
Cell phone connectivity on the forest may be limited, plan ahead.
Failure to properly display a valid pass can lead to a citation.
