Chewalla Lake Recreation Area offers a beautiful and tranquil setting for enjoyment of the outdoors. Visitors can enjoy a scenic view of the 260-acre lake, which is popular with fishermen and swimmers in the warmer months. Facilities include 36 campsites (nine with electric & water hookups), 40 picnic sites, boat ramp, accessible fishing pier, swimming beach, children's playground, group picnic pavilion, restrooms with flush toilets and showers, drinking water, walking trail and a sewage dump station.  

Passes are valid for use of recreation facilities at Chewalla Lake Recreation Area. The recreation area is open to day use from 6:00AM to 10:00PM. A pass admits the passholder and accompanying passengers of a single, private (non-commercial) vehicle.

If purchasing your Day Pass on-site, no printed copy of the pass will be available. Instead, your license plate number and the pass stored on your device will be used to confirm compliance. If you purchase a pass in advance, a printed copy of the pass is recommended for your vehicle dashboard.

The pass is valid until the end of the day of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass. Passes are non-transferrable between operators, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.

This pass does not guarantee parking availability. For your safety, please remember that parking outside of designated areas is discouraged and visitors who park illegally may be fined and towed. This pass is valid until 10:00 PM of the date listed on the pass, and only for the date and vehicle specified for this pass.

America the Beautiful Passes: Senior, Access, and Golden Age Senior/Access passes provide a discount on day use fees for the passholder and up to three adults per vehicle.

Passes are non-transferrable between operators, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
