The Umatilla National Forest, located in the Blue Mountains of southeast Washington and northeast Oregon, covers 1.4 million acres of diverse landscapes and plant communities. The Forest has some mountainous terrain, but most of the area consists of v-shaped valleys separated by narrow ridges or plateaus. The landscape includes heavily timbered slopes, grassland ridges and benches, and bold basalt outcroppings with elevations from 1,600 to 8,000 feet above sea level.
Day use fee is required at the following sites:

· Jubilee Lake Picnic Site
· Meadow Creek Trailhead
· Panjab Trailhead
· Teepee Trailhead
· Three Forks Trailhead
· Timothy Springs Trailhead
· Tucannon Trailhead
· Twin Buttes Trailhead
Annual Northwest Forest Pass
The Northwest Forest Pass is honored at all Forest Service operated recreation sites in Washington and Oregon where a day use fee is required.
The pass allows the pass holder use of recreation facilities at per-person sites. Other members in the party must pay the per-person fee.
The pass allows the pass holder and any accompanying passengers in a private vehicle use of the recreation facilities at per vehicle sites.
Passes are interchangeable between all members of the same household.
Frequent visitors of national forests may save money by buying an annual pass.
All visitors are required to display a printed copy of their Northwest Forest Annual Pass, with QR code visible, on the dashboard of their vehicle for the duration of their stay.
The Northwest Forest Annual Pass is honored at Forest Service operated day use recreation sites in Oregon and Washington where a day use fee is required.
It is valid for 1 year across all National Forests in Oregon and Washington regardless of where purchased.
This pass does not guarantee parking availability.
